Heather Zimbal is thrilled to announce her venture into the real estate industry, bringing with her over 23 years of experience in the Marketing and Communications realm and a passion and drive to help folks find their dream homes.

Heather’s strong connection to the local community is evident in her deep roots. Daughter of Richard Schuette and Steve and Rita Bender, she’s a native of the Johnsonville area, and proudly graduated in the class of 1995 from the Howards Grove School District. In 2008, Heather married Mark Zimbal, owner of Big Z Builders LCC, and together they have three high-energy sons—Henry, Arwin, and Walter. Nestled in the Town of Sheboygan Falls, WI, the Zimbal family resides in a home they built as a family from 2018 to 2020.

Armed with a robust background in marketing, advertising, financial planning, and consumer relations, Heather is ready to redefine real estate excellence. Her corporate journey was not a typical one, though, and includes significant milestones. After graduating from UW-Whitewater in 1999, she worked for GMR Marketing in New Berlin, WI. As a Senior Manager, she traveled 100% of the time promoting global brands such as VOLVO, Microsoft, Michelin, VISA, and NASCAR, hosting experiential in-market events, and managing product launches. After crisscrossing the US more than 20 times by land, she was ready to retire from the road and come back home to Plymouth, WI. In 2006, she joined Kohler Co., where she held various roles from Sr. Market Analyst to Brand Communications Manager for the past 17 years. Her expertise in account and project management, cross-functional leadership, event planning, and her meticulous attention to detail will make her a go-to professional in the competitive real estate landscape.

Heather is a true community enthusiast, actively involved in various service roles. Currently, she serves as the General Leader for the Johnsonville Hustlers 4-H Club since 2019, where her dedication shines. Her love for dairy runs deep as she also served as the WI Holstein Princess in 1996 promoting dairy agriculture throughout the state. Heather is an active lifelong member at Saron UCC Church, having served 4 years on the Board of Christian Education and, in 2024, joining the Consistory as an Elder showcasing her commitment to making a positive impact beyond the business realm. This multifaceted engagement reflects Heather’s sincere dedication to creating a positive influence in both her professional and community spheres.

Outside the office, you’ll find Heather and her husband immersed in family fun with their three dirt-seeking, outdoorsy, hard working boys. Whether she’s enthusiastically cheering them on at the Sheboygan Falls United Football League games, YMCA Football games, or passionately supporting them mat side at a wrestling match, family time is her cherished priority.

While her husband Mark takes the helm at Big Z Builders, LLC, shaping homes in Sheboygan County since 1996, Heather and the boys are there supporting and working on projects when they can. As a unit, they revel in camping adventures, have a soft spot for race cars, enjoy hands-on crafting and woodworking projects. Amidst the lively chaos, their two 120lb dogs, Teddy and Everest, add their own charm to their dynamic household.
