Rich Ryan

For Rich Ryan, real estate is about much more than buying and selling property—it’s about people, families, and helping someone take the next step in their life.

Rich is a 2004 graduate of West Bend West High School and went on to study Business Management at Concordia University Wisconsin, where he also competed as a member of the university’s wrestling team. The discipline, work ethic, and determination he developed through wrestling have continued to play an important role throughout his life and career.

Before becoming a REALTOR®, Rich spent 11 years helping manage his family’s packaging business, which served as a third-party packager for Chrysler Corporation. Growing up around a family business gave Rich an appreciation for hard work, treating people right, and understanding that your reputation is built one relationship at a time.

For the past six years, Rich has worked as a REALTOR® and Associate Broker. Today, he works alongside his wife and real estate partner, Heather Bassett, as the Rich Ryan & Heather Bassett Real Estate Team. Together, Rich and Heather bring their individual strengths and experience to the table while sharing one goal: providing their clients with honest advice, personal service, and someone they can count on from the first conversation through closing day and beyond.

What Rich loves most about real estate is being part of the moments that matter. Whether it’s handing first-time buyers the keys to their new home, helping a family sell a property filled with memories, or helping an investor find their next opportunity, there’s something special about knowing your work helped someone accomplish a goal or begin a new chapter.

Outside of real estate, family is Rich’s biggest priority. He enjoys spending time with Heather and their children, Genevieve, Lawrence, and Edwin. When he gets some free time, you’ll often find him fishing, bow hunting, training Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu, or coaching wrestling. Having wrestled at the collegiate level, Rich enjoys giving back to the sport and helping young wrestlers develop confidence, discipline, and a strong work ethic.

Rich believes the best real estate relationships are built on trust, communication, and simply doing what you say you’re going to do.
